The first time you run Simplify Media, ZoneAlarm will prompt you to 'Allow' or 'Deny' Simplify Media both as a client and server. You should select 'Allow' and select (check) 'Remember this setting.'
If you suspect that ZoneAlarm is blocking or hindering Simplify from communicating properly, please open ZoneAlarm and verify that the Simplify Media entry is configured like the following.
