Simplify's other app lets you listen to your home music library from anywhere with a sort of zero-setup server app, and it's absolutely indispensable. This one does the same thing for photos, letting you access your entire home photo library wherever you are, without taking up much space on your iPhone's dinky drive. The experience is surprisingly seamless considering how much it depends on the iPhone's data connection, and the app is only a dollar.

It's hard to overstate how useful this is. Simplify Media shares your library so that you can access your music remotely, via iTunes or their fantastic iPhone client. You can also access friends' libraries directly through iTunes, as if they were connected to your LAN. Downloading isn't enabled, but Simplify more than makes up for that with dead-easy setup and reliable streaming.

Simplify Media extended this functionality in iTunes back in 2007 by allowing sharing with up to 30 other people outside of the local network.
