Thanks!
We’ve been fairly busy with the alpha release of Simplify Media Mobile, and we’ve neglected to thank our users who have posted comments since we added support for Winamp and Apple Lossless files. Nothing is more gratifying for us than seeing real users enjoying our software. Our focus with these early releases is to get the product right, so we also want to thank everyone who has taken the time to report problems and work with us on resolving them. While we don’t have room to list every comment from blogs, forums and twitter, we truly appreciate all of them. Here are some of our favorites:
TidBITS: Specify your music folder, log in, and forget.
Bored Internet: Inviting friends could not be easier.
Online Tech Tips: makes it very simple to stream music from one OS to another
Back and Forth Forever: (legal) music sharing made easy.
The Techzone: Listen to your home mp3s at work….Quite simple.
Makesuseof.com: conveniently share…iTunes / Winamp playlists…no uploads necessary.
And some comments from our International users…
Savaş Şakar: Böylelikle hem arkadaşlarınızla müzik paylaşabilecek hemde kendiniz dinleyebileceksiniz.
Thanks!

anebg, proxy support is on our roadmap. I’m sorry I can’t be more specific on timing, but this is a popular request and we do plan to add it.

Jonathan,
I hope we answered your question via email. If not, I am very sorry for the delay. To create an account, install the Mac, PC or Linux version on your desktop. Start Simplify Media, and select the “Don’t have a Simplify Media screen name yet?” link from the sign in screen.

A number of new mobile users have been confused by this, so with the 923 update for the iPhone and iPod Touch, we added introductory screens to show you how this works.
