I’ll miss SM, but I’m pretty excited to see what Google does with the service. :) Keep up the good work!

    Sadness falls across the land…

I happened to have caught a glimpse of Day 2 of Google I/O conference in which a new service was described as being able to stream your audio from your iTunes application to your Android device/phone. As I understand, the software being used is the next version of Simplify, rebranded as a Google application as Google purchased the company a few months ago. I am a huge fan of both companies and I eagerly look forward to new developments.

I just hope we can get a similar service via iPhone when you re-launch/re-brand.
Having used and bought the music, music2 and photo apps this would ideally be without having to pay for them all over again!
Being a massive music and photography fan I’ll miss walking around with my 100GB music and 40GB photo library in my pocket :(
Best bit live scrobbling, worst bit library updating times!!

I agree with FirinBlanks, except I’d pay for the new version as long as it works as well as SimplifyMedia. I mean really, I paid $3 for the ability to have my entire music collection with me everywhere? I can find another $3 to have that again.

I’ll miss this service terribly and have begun the search for an inferior replacement. Still, what else is a poor iPhone user to do now that you guys are gone? :)

Ya I wish this wouldn’t die out I loved this program / app. I use it everyday at work. But I did find something similar to it. The only down fall is that it doesn’t stream itunes playlists. It streams mp3s from the folders they’re in, but I guess I could deal with that. I hope Simplify Media comes back in the future.
